Artisan Mahón cheese D.O.P. is made with the traditional cheese making methods of Mahón-Menorca, which uses fresh raw milk and is matured for 3 moths for a semi-cured cheese and 6 months for a cured cheese. It has a characteristic parallelepiped shape and the wrinkled surface is spread with oil and paprika.The yellow cheese has an intense flavour and a long lasting after taste. Ideal for a demanding gourmet.
STORAGE AND CONSUMPTION:
It can be accompanied by a good red wine.
It can be eaten as an aperitif or as a dessert with fig or date cake (see our products)
Store in the fridge and it should be removed about 30 minutes before serving for better flavour and texture.
