The ageing that is given to this wine is 12 months in new barrels of French oak. The result is a powerful wine, intense with a purple edge, clean and shiny. Intense and very well integrated and balanced aromas of dark fruits, lightly toasted with shades of spice, mineral and balsamic. Powerful on the palate, vast, bodied and savoury with greasy tannins, with much volume and a long and persistent ending.
