The Gran Reserva serrano ham is produced from white pigs and has a fine taste with the ideal amount of fat. A high quality product at an attractive price.
It tis produced using traditional methods, from the choice of the best pigs to the drying process in which it attains all the characteristics that make serrano ham one of the best appreciated products in Spanish gastronomy.
As with all our hams we choose pieces of around 8 kg as, in the opinion of our expert, the pigs have reached the right maturity to offer the best flavour.
There is no need for refrigeration or any special storage conditions. Once the ham has been cut it should be consumed within 6 weeks. It is advisable to cover it in its own fat and the cloth it is supplied with to ensure that it does not lose any of its aroma or dry out too much. We recommend that you consume the ham within 4 months of purchase.
